First Chapter: Edition Three

We're so excited to announce the third edition of First Chapter: a monthly literary series where we read together!

Our Guest Curator is the brilliant Leah Jing McIntosh, who has selected Maxine Hong Kingston's iconic The Woman Warrior for us to read together. We couldn't think of a better pairing.

And a quick reminder that our very first No Skips listening party is happening this Monday — doors open at 5:30pm at Northside Records. Guest selector, Atong Atem, has selected Alice Coltrane's 1971 spiritual jazz album, 'Journey to Satchidananda' for us to listen to together.

The event sold out in under 24 hours, but we'll be releasing a handful of tickets on Friday, so keep an eye out if you missed out the first time.
